These projects represent some of the leading efforts of what we are calling “a new layer of social justice electoral infrastructure” that has the potential to mobilize the Rising Electorate and impact the elections but, it is also building long-term capacities in these communities in an ongoing way at multiple levels, from local, state to national. The organizations that are part of these projects, in collaboration with other political actors, are working to achieve progressive electoral wins in November and to advance progressive policy initiatives and hold legislators accountable after Election Day.
